Maybe it was watching the Olympics or maybe I’m just craving some good, old-fashioned fun – either way, I’ve been wanting to play games! Board games, laughter, food, hilarity and interaction with people…doesn’t that sound fun?
I inherited the game, Cranium, some time ago from an old roommate who kindly offered it to me in lieu of throwing it out. Well, I’ve played it a few times and it can be pretty fun. I’m thinking I need to dust it off and enlist some people to come over and play!
Games can be great gifts! Instead of bringing a bottle of wine as a hostess gift, why not a game? It could liven up a dinner party or help you make some fun memories on your next visit to your friends that are kind enough to put you up and show you the town, while giving them future fun as well. It makes a great gift to your family (imagine how thrilled your kids would be if you came home one evening with pizza and new board game?) or a fun birthday gift to boys or girls of any age (yes, even us grownups need to have fun!). Games could even make a nice get-well present, especially if it is a flexible game that accommodates one or more players
Whatever the occasion, whoever the recipient, a game can be a really fun gift that also helps to create memories each and every time you play it…which is a gift in itself!
What are some of your favorite games to play? I would love to know, so leave a comment!
Happy gifting!
