After a whirlwind tour of Santa Fe on our first trip to the Southwest, we are heading back to wintry Boston.

As with life in general, there were highs and lows with our trip – highs included interacting with incredibly nice people, fabulous views unlike any I’ve ever seen, having yummy guacamole made table-side, travelling a road at night, then travelling the same road the very next day only to learn that it was an incredibly beautiful drive…almost seems allegorical in a way – keeping your eyes open while travelling through life allows you to enjoy the beauty. Beauty, in all its forms, is such a gift!

Lows included a very sick puppy, lack of sleep due to the aforementioned sick puppy, a boyfriend who experienced some altitude sickness and not enough time to see even a small percentage of what I would have liked to see. I really hope that I am able to come back and spend a lot more time here some day.

My members have enjoyed some “Members Only” blogs while I’ve been away but for those of you who are new to the blog or haven’t yet become a member, you could take just a moment to register so that you don’t miss anything and, if you just don’t want to take that step, I’ll be back to regularly scheduled blogs when we get back to Boston.

Until then, happy gifting!
