This lovely book’s idea is simple and straightforward and a perfect Mother’s Day present! The book poses questions to be answered by your mother about different facets of her life before it’s too late. The book is divvied up so that each section represents a time period in her life. The beginning starts off with fairly basic questions and then it continues so that, depending on your mom, the questions can really be delved into or answered simply. The author, P.J. Cloud, has included photography throughout the book that complements each section and the feel of the book in general.
The very best way to personalize this gift is to take the opportunity to sit down with your mom as she is answering the questions or, if she is elderly, offering to have her tell you the stories that each question is sure to remind her of while you preserve them in the pages of Someday, I’ll Ask You.

Happy SITS Saturday!
I love the idea behind that book. I think it’d be a great idea to do with Grandmothers too.
I would love this book! Sounds great, I will definitely check it out. Thanks for stopping by my Blog today! Happy SITS Saturday Sharefest to you as well.
I hope I win!!
@Amanda – Thank you! SITS Saturday Sharefest is always fun.
I believe the author has plans to do a book like this for Grandparents as well but her next book will be for Fathers and Sons. I’m looking forward to seeing that one as well!
@Star Forbis – Thanks for your visit! It is a very nice book and the sentiment of it is just wonderful. I think you will enjoy it.
@madison – Good luck!!!
I can’t wait to give it away!
This book is such a wonderful idea ~ I remember writing something similar for my kids when I was first diagnosed with cancer. It’s 10 years later and I’m happy I’m here to just tell them. Anyway, thank you for visiting my blog.
@Daenel – You’re welcome! It was my pleasure to visit.
Congratulations on being a survivor!!! What a huge reminder that life is such a gift – no matter the kind of day we are having…
This book is such a great idea! I would love to capture memories of my mom’s or maybe my 96 year old grandmother.
@jessicaanne – I know! I wish that I had a preservation like this of my great-Grandmother’s life (the only Grandparent I am fortunate enough to have memories of). As it is, all I have are some photos and my own memories from long ago since she died when I was about seven years old.
What a great idea for Mother’s Day! I didn’t do this with my Mom but I would love to give a book like this to my daugthers.
@Liliana – Thanks! I think it would be a fantastic gift to give your daughters!!! It is a gift that they will cherish and your grandchildren can cherish. Questions that they might not remember or even think to ask.
Good luck!
