Something’s Brewing…


Whether you’re new to this blog or you visit pretty regularly, you’ll notice that I haven’t been posting regularly at all – there is a good reason for this – we are brewing up a little pre-Halloween surprise…

In just a few short days we are going to be launching our new design!!!

I am pretty proud of all the hard work we’ve (my genius designer, amazingly talented artist and loving, supportive boyfriend!) done and I think that you’ll agree that the results are pretty fantastic.  Without these  three men, my ideas wouldn’t have come to life in such a wonderful way.  I try to show my appreciation in every interaction, every e-mail, conversation, laugh, emoticon…but there aren’t enough words nor gifts to express my gratitude for all their hard work, great humor, positive attitude…I could go on all day.  Really.  …read more




Men wearing pink. Ironically, there is something very masculine about that. Especially when it is for a good cause…

I am watching football with my boyfriend and I notice that, although red looks red, there is an awful lot of pink where I would have expected to see even more red, so I think to myself, not a problem with the color setting of the television. What then? Football and lots of pink? Not something I’m used to seeing. Of course I point this out to Alex and he is engrossed in the game and could care less about all the pink. He thinks that the color on the television is probably off, or hopes so because my sleuthing is distracting! I eye the screen carefully and see the first pink ribbon on the padding of the goal post! A Case of SAD


I awoke feeling groggy with something warm and wet on my face. Puppy licks.

Did my alarm go off already?

My head hurt. Too much partying? Migraine? No and no. Just a bad case of SAD, otherwise known as Seasonal Affective Disorder. How fitting that the acronym of this disorder should so aptly describe how it makes you feel. And boy did I ever feel like crap! I was both thankful and disappointed that I didn’t have any big gift giving cases to work recently. Solving all of those gift giving predicaments always made me feel a bit better. I love making people happy – even vicariously by helping to find that perfect gift.
