Giving of yourself isn’t always easy, but it is always rewarding. Case in point – Locks of Love. I haven’t had my hair cut in over a year because I decided that I was going to attempt to grow out my hair long enough so that I could donate it to Locks of Love. Believe me, there have been times that I’ve felt a little bit shaggy while I wait for my hair to grow. There are other times that I worry that I’ll get too attached to my new length and not be able to part with ten inches (that’s a lot!) of hair.

I was just about to walk out the door yesterday and saw a big box sitting on the porch. I was ever so curious but didn’t have time to investigate since I was on my way to a doctors appointment so I brought it inside so that I could open it when I returned.

Although the sun wasn’t out when my appointment was over it had at least stopped raining, so Isabelle and I went for an nice long walk and then headed to the park, where she proceeded to get wet and muddy playing with three other cute dogs.
