The real purpose of gift giving is to recognize and let a person know that you care on some level. Your relationship with a recipient is one of the many factors that plays into the type of gift you’ll want to give.
Gift giving is not about recognizing some date on the calendar and doing your due diligence and getting a card or a gift just because you’re supposed to.
