This is one of my favorite books and I find that when I connect with or care about someone, I occasionally like to give this as a present. Why? Because part of gift giving is giving something of yourself. When you care about someone you want to have some shared experiences and interests in common. It is only natural for us to talk about the things that shape us, interest us and/or provoke us, both the positive and the negative.
