I’m not! Yes, you read that right, I feel completely unprepared for Easter. Sad but oh-so-true.

Easter is one of the holidays that has many interpretations on how to celebrate. Some people are very religious about Easter and some not. For some the highlight of their Easter is attending a sunrise service, others hide eggs and eat candy and some don’t celebrate it at all.

I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather, which doesn’t just put me behind work-wise…this means I haven’t gotten anything done for Easter!

Etsy for Easter: Chocolate Dogs


Sure, you could buy the traditional Russell Stover bunnies to fill your Easter baskets and, honestly, there is nothing wrong with that. But why not take a more unique route? More personalized?

Toy Tuesday: LEGO


You need a gift for a child but can’t possibly think of what to get them? Think back to when you were a child…I remember loving my LEGO sets.

I think sometimes we overlook the classic and obvious choices for toys in favor of the new or latest big thing. Sometimes the new craze will offer some great gift ideas but we shouldn’t forgo the classics.

Children of many ages enjoy building blocks of various types – wooden blocks and stacking cups with numbers and bright colors for the very young, LEGO sets for the child as young as 18 months to as old as 15 years.
