I think that the butterfly garden on its own is a fantastic gift – if you read the reviews people are just so consistently happy and both the children and adults love the experience of watching this amazing life transformation. I was skeptical that this might not be cool, and then I watched this video which definitely changed my mind.
The EyeClops is essentially a microscope that is hooked up to your television so that your kids (or the kid at heart!) can look at things magnified up to 400x. It is a toy that will get your kids more interested in the world around them. There are three levels of magnification (100x, 200x and 400x) so that you can begin to look at things with your own eyes and then magnify it slowly to really get an interesting picture of what we see vs. what something is really made up of.
