Giving of yourself isn’t always easy, but it is always rewarding. Case in point – Locks of Love. I haven’t had my hair cut in over a year because I decided that I was going to attempt to grow out my hair long enough so that I could donate it to Locks of Love. Believe me, there have been times that I’ve felt a little bit shaggy while I wait for my hair to grow. There are other times that I worry that I’ll get too attached to my new length and not be able to part with ten inches (that’s a lot!) of hair.

Great time, thought and effort went into the process. One would reflect on the recipient’s personality, lifestyle, character, and then spend days if not weeks looking for the one perfect gift that would reveal how much they thought of the person.
