Oh, Paper Source, how I love thee!

This homemade Foxy Valentine is a super cute way to let someone know you think they are foxy! It is easy, inexpensive and creative.

Something like this can be made even more personal by customizing the label – for instance, with your Valentine’s name – or leaving something special inside. The something special need not be expensive either (though it would probably come as quite a surprise it was!); a love note, a memento of some special time together, your Valentine’s favorite candy or whatever else you choose. New Year’s Eve is just around the corner and I found a cute idea from the folks at Paper Source – you can make New Year’s hats!

Make Your Own Party Hats!

Maybe I’m corny, but I think that the little things like hats and noisemakers are even better (and safer!) than alcohol. Here are a few of my ideas for how to make these hats into great gifts:

* Making some for a party you are throwing is a great take-away gift for your guests.

This is such a simple idea but I really love it!

For an easy but memorable gift, decorate a small box of matches for Hanukkah and pair it with nine candles.

This is the type of craft that requires very little time or effort but you can really personalize it and make it into a lovely gift.  This present would be nice alone or as an accompaniment to another gift.  You could wrap up the candles and even use the matchbox as an adornment to the gift wrap by attaching it to the ribbon!

Very pretty, tasteful, useful and affordable!!!

Happy gifting!
