The other night my boyfriend’s father told me a great gift giving story that I am going to share here, since I think it illustrates the idea of a symbolic gift perfectly.
Because I would like to keep details of the story private, I’m just going to give you the broad strokes…
Once upon a time, a highly revered gentlemen, who did a whole lot of work for a group that he was involved with, helped them immensely by ghost writing an important report. This group was aptly appreciative of his hard work and thought of a pretty unique way of showing their gratitude:
