Clamshell packages are an absolute *beep* to open. I don’t care if you are twenty-something and the vision of perfect health or eighty-something with arthritis and poor eyesight – they are hard for everyone to open. Heck, even Houdini would have trouble breaking in to a clam shell package! Because so many gifts are packaged this way, I decided to do some investigating on gifts that might help…well, open gifts. When I first heard that Aerobie, largely know for their sport toys, made a coffee maker, called the AeroPress, I’ll admit, I was more than a little bit skeptical. Then I tried it and skepticism was dispelled in a heartbeat!
Nevermind that the AeroPress is fast and so easy that you could do this half-asleep (as many a coffee drinker will in anticipation of that first aromatic cup of ‘Good Morning!’), all that has been said before with their numerous positive reviews – check them out here and here.
My specialty isn’t coffee, it’s gifts, and the AeroPress definitely impressed me on both fronts!
