This is such an easy idea and you can personalize it in so many ways. Really. Your imagination is the limit here. All you really need is a deck of cards, a magic marker (unless you decide to use your printer), a hole punch and a way to hold the cards together (like pretty ribbon or one or more binder rings). You can add embellishments with magazine pictures, adhesive gems, stickers, construction paper, things you print from your computer, etc. If you add paper embellishments you may need to add a glue stick to your list. Easter began as a religious holiday and is now also celebrated by many secular households as well. There are many aspects of this holiday and eggs are a big part of both the traditional religious celebrations and the non-religious version where children help decorate eggs and get Easter baskets filled with candy and toys and hunt for Easter eggs on Sunday morning. And it doesn’t matter what religion you are affiliated with, if any at all, because it also is a time of renewal with Spring and the plants and flowers beginning to bloom.
The pic just says it all, doesn’t it? Sometimes I feel like a post is just superfluous if I can get a good pic up and this is one of those times.
