I found this video on YouTube and wanted to share it with you on this special day. Dr. Martin Luther King was a gift and his legacy still continues to inspire, as evidenced by the students at Bellevue High School who created this video. It is unfortunate to note that they had to disable comments on the video because people were actually making racist comments – Martin Luther King initially spoke for civil rights but his speech spoke for all people; race, religion, sexual orientation, age, weight…we are all united under one sky and I hope that, despite the evidence that all sorts of discriminations are still present today, that there are more people that …read more

The Gift Detective now has a YouTube Channel – TheGiftDetective – and you can view my first video there so that you can offer comments or feedback, or you can watch it here…!
This video is me introducing myself so that you can put a face to The Gift Detective, but subsequent videos will be how-to’s, reviews, interviews, etc. After I get some more materials together (a bit of a challenge being cameraman, editor, and speaker but I’ll get it down yet – just wait and see!), they will also be a lot more fun and enjoyable to watch so keep your eye out for the changes to come…I think that you’ll enjoy them!

I’ll be a little late posting today, my sincerest apologies! Ran into a glitch posting my first YouTube videos but, barring any technical problems, they will be posted later today.
What you have to look forward to: The first video is a short one of me simply introducing myself. Thought it might be nice for you to “meet” The Gift Detective. The second video is a Sleuthing Sunday video blog, for which there will also be a written post to supplement it or to satisfy the readers who prefer to read only.
I look forward to getting those up for you and I hope your Sunday is off to a good start! Please come back to see my new (hopefully better!) videos and as always, please e-mail me with feedbacl, questions or Sleuthing Sunday requests.
Warmly,
Alyna
